Awana is a Bible-based club for boys and girls aged two years prior to Kindergarten through sixth grade. Trained leaders guide children through age-appropriate material. Each meeting is divided into Game Time (a fun time of individual and team competition); Handbook Time (achievement-oriented memorization and understanding of key Bible verses); and Council Time (singing, awards and a Bible message).
The goal of Awana is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ, and train them to serve Him. The heart of Awana is the gospel message, explained on this page. This message is important for each child and leader to understand; it is the reason for Awana.
Awana Club is held each Wednesday evening during the school year from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. We do not meet on certain holidays; contact the church for specific dates. We welcome boys and girls regardless of church attendance or background.
